Mangaluru, Mar 24: As part of World Oral Health Day celebrations, Yenepoya Dental College organized a street play to spread awareness about the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene. The event aimed to educate the public on preventive dental care and its role in overall health.

The program began with a welcome address by the head of the department, Dr Vinita Boloor, who greeted the gathering and highlighted the significance of community outreach initiatives.

The principal of Yenepoya Dental College addressed the audience, emphasizing the importance of oral health and elaborating on the various facilities available at the institution for patient care and treatment.

Dean Dr Sham S Bhat also spoke on the occasion, stressing the connection between oral health and general well-being, and encouraging the public to adopt proper oral hygiene practices for a healthier life.

All the faculty of the department of Periodontology and other departments of Yenepoya dental college were present.

As part of the initiative, free samples and informational pamphlets were distributed to the attendees to further promote awareness and preventive care.
