Udupi, Mar 28: The Kindergarten batch 2025-26 donned their graduation caps with immense pride and enthusiasm as the school held their Moving Up Ceremony on Friday, March 27, thus marking a significant milestone in the lives of the young learners as they geared to usher a new academic phase into their lives.
The programme commenced with the welcoming of the esteemed chief guest Santosh Srivastava- senior civil judge & additional chief judicial magistrate, dignitaries, parents, and the little graduates.
The celebration was further graced by the gracious presence of the ever-supportive Kindergarten coordinator and the superior, Sr Priya Maria AC, who has always been a pillar of relentless encouragement to the kindergarten section.
The kindergarten faculties – teacher Nancy, Teacher Suja, teacher Violet, Teacher Iona, and teacher Kanchan - were also present, adding to the warmth and dignity of the occasion.
The vice principal- Sr Preethi Savitha AC inaugurated the event while the LKG students invoked divine blessings through a graceful prayer dance, followed by a vibrant welcome dance filling the atmosphere with an aura of enthusiasm and cheer.
The little stars- Parnika, Iniya, Iha, and Manvith extended warm welcome, beautifully reflecting the growth and confidence nurtured during their kindergarten years.
The highlight of the day was the graduation ceremony. Dressed in adorable graduation attire, the young learners walked proudly to receive their certificates of completion amidst the loud applause of the audience. The vice principal Sr Preethi Savitha then administered the graduation oath, encouraging the students to remain curious, kind, and responsible learners.
The chief guest, Santosh Srivastava addressed the gathering with inspiring words, appreciating the dedicated efforts of the management, teachers, and parents in laying a strong foundation for the children’s future.
The celebration continued with a delightful Play School Dance, showcasing the joyful spirit of the youngest students. Graduates - The Shon, Hridhan, Crystal, Rosanne Kiara, and Pragya shared their kindergarten experiences, expressing heartfelt gratitude and fond memories, kindling sweet emotions in the hearts of parents and teachers.
The graduates then presented a melodious thanksgiving rendition as a token of appreciation to their teachers and parents. The programme concluded with heartfelt words of gratitude by teacher Violet. The School Anthem resonated with pride, strengthening the spirit of being a Cecilian. The celebration concluded joyfully with a group photograph session, capturing cherished memories of a remarkable and meaningful day.
The programme was gracefully compered by Udvith, Tiahna, Aradhya, and Vikanth, who confidently guided the audience through the various segments of the celebration.
The Kindergarten Graduation Day truly stood as a celebration of cherished beginnings and hopeful tomorrows- a bright and promising journey ahead.
