Moodlakatte College of Nursing organizes awareness rally on organ donation, drug de-addiction

Kundapur, Mar 31: An awareness rally on organ donation and drug de-addiction was organized on Friday by the NSS unit of Moodlakatte College of Nursing, in association with the Organ Donation and Anti-Drug Campaign Committees.

The rally commenced from the Basrur Primary Health Centre and proceeded up to Kandluru. It was flagged off by Dr Umesh Nayak, medical officer of Primary Health Centre, Koteshwar; Santosh Kumar, head constable of Kandlur Police Station; professor Jennifer Freeda Menezes, principal; Roopashree K S, vice principal; and NSS coordinator Chandrashekar, who jointly inaugurated the event by cutting the ribbon.

On the occasion, Dr Umesh Nayak urged the public to adopt a healthy and responsible lifestyle for the betterment of society.

Students participated enthusiastically in the rally, spreading awareness among the public about the importance of organ donation and the harmful effects of substance abuse.
