Mangaluru, Apr 10: St Agnes PU College has carved a niche for itself in academic excellence with an outstanding performance in the II PU Board Examination 2026. The principal and staff take immense pride in the remarkable achievements of their students, whose insatiable drive for hard work and commitment has yielded noteworthy results across all streams.

In the science stream, Riah Anna Mendonca secured the top position with a phenomenal total of 595 marks including perfect scores in physics, mathematics, computer science and Hindi. She secured the 5th rank at the state level.

In the commerce stream, Viola Risha Fernandes emerged as the highest scorer with a notable 593 marks attaining centums in business studies, basic maths, and statistics, thereby securing the 8th rank at the state level.

In the arts stream, Prateeksha N Rao garnered a praiseworthy total of 587 marks and a perfect score in economics. She has made us proud by securing the 12th rank at the state level.

The consistent support extended by the management and the collaborative efforts of teachers and parents has played a vital role in shaping these triumphs.

These admirable accomplishments showcase not only individual dedication but also the untiring efforts of the teachers and the institution. The students have brought prestige to the institution by securing an overall pass percentage of 98.05%, with 202 students achieving distinctions, 283 students securing first class. The college can also boast of 75 centums.

Khadeejaa Sahla, a physically challenged student from the commerce stream deserves special commendation for overcoming all hurdles and securing a brilliant 86 % in the examination.
