Mumbai, May 4: Bollywood actor Salman Khan has expressed deep grief over the passing of his longtime friend Sushil Kumar, describing him as a brother-like figure he shared a bond with for over four decades.
Taking to social media on Sunday night, the actor posted an emotional message remembering his late friend, highlighting his cheerful personality, resilience, and supportive nature during difficult times. Salman recalled that Sushil Kumar remained optimistic even in financial, emotional, and physical hardships, often reassuring others that everything would eventually be fine.

He also shared that his friend faced life’s challenges with courage and passed away with a smile, describing him as someone who “fought death like a heavyweight champion.” The actor added that while people come and go in life, the memories and shared laughter remain forever.
Salman posted photographs featuring Sushil Kumar alongside himself and his father, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, indicating a close association with the Khan family.
While details about Sushil Kumar’s background remain unclear, the tribute suggests a long-standing personal connection with the actor and his family.
