Los Angeles, Jun 22: Singer-songwriter Adele is reportedly preparing for a major musical comeback after nearly two years away from the spotlight.
The 38-year-old singer stepped back from public life in November 2024 following the conclusion of her Weekends with Adele residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
According to media reports, Adele has temporarily left her home in Los Angeles and travelled to London, where she has been spotted at Church Studios in Crouch End, North London. The studio is owned by producer Paul Epworth and was previously used by Adele while recording parts of her 2015 album, 25.

Sources familiar with the project told British media that the singer has been spending considerable time writing and recording new material.
“Adele is spending at least a fortnight in London writing and recording music,” a source said, adding that she has been attending multiple studio sessions while maintaining a low profile.
The source said Adele feels comfortable working at Church Studios due to her longstanding association with Epworth, making London a preferred choice over recording in Los Angeles.
Reports also noted that Justin Vernon, lead singer of Bon Iver, was seen at the studio last week, although it remains unclear whether he is collaborating with Adele.
Singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams was also spotted filming a music video outside the venue. Over the years, prominent artists such as Blur, Oasis, Coldplay and Paul McCartney have recorded at the studio, which was previously owned by Dave Stewart of Eurythmics.
According to insiders, Adele deliberately chose to work in London because she wants her next project to reconnect with her roots.
Sources close to the singer said those around her have encouraged her to draw inspiration from her hometown, believing it could bring a fresh perspective to her music.
They reportedly felt that while her previous album was well received, it carried a distinctly Hollywood influence, and returning to London could help restore the down-to-earth and relatable qualities that originally endeared her to audiences worldwide.
Since arriving in the UK, Adele has been seen attending actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s birthday celebration and also attended a concert by Lola Young at O2 Academy Brixton.
When concluding her Las Vegas residency in November 2024, the Hello singer had told audiences that she wanted to slow down professionally and spend more time with her young son. Her latest studio activity has now fuelled speculation that a new chapter in her musical career could soon be underway.
