Chennai, Jun 27: Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly has officially unveiled the title of his landmark 50th film, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Alphonse Puthren. The film has been titled 'Vijayam', with the makers releasing an intriguing first-look teaser on social media.

Sharing the announcement on X, Nivin Pauly wrote, "Every great ride begins with a little faith... and someone willing to take the first turn with you. Back with the friend who started this journey with me. Presenting the official first look poster in Malayalam, English and Tamil of #Vijayam."

The teaser opens with director Alphonse Puthren standing alone on a narrow road flanked by expansive fields dotted with towering windmills. As several bikers speed past without stopping, the filmmaker is left stranded.

Moments later, Puthren notices tiny insects crawling along the path and begins filming them on his mobile phone. At that point, Nivin Pauly arrives on a motorcycle and unexpectedly greets the director with a playful slap.

When Puthren asks why he is there, Nivin, dressed in full riding gear, gestures towards himself and asks, "Don't you get it?" After the director responds in the negative, Nivin invites him to hop on the bike, and the duo rides away together before the film's title, 'Vijayam', appears on screen.

The film marks the reunion of Nivin Pauly and Alphonse Puthren, whose previous collaborations have been widely celebrated by Malayalam cinema audiences.

Alphonse Puthren has written the story, will direct the film and will also handle the editing. The project is being produced by Tonson Tony and Sunil Ramady under the Pauly Jr Pictures banner.

Shinoz has been entrusted with the cinematography, while Steve Kottoor will compose the film's music. Vishnu Govind will oversee the sound design and mixing.

The art direction is by Rakhil, costumes are designed by Melwy J, and Sandeep Kumar P serves as the co-director of the film.
