Mumbai, Jul 3: Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has confirmed that he will marry his partner, Gauri Spratt, on July 5 in an intimate ceremony at his Mumbai residence.

Speaking to the media at the screening of Arshad Warsi's series Pritam and Pedro, Aamir said the wedding would be a private affair attended only by close family members and a few friends.

"Yes, I am getting married on July 5. It will be a very small wedding at home with both families. It is a very special day for us. We seek everyone's prayers and blessings. Please pray that we stay happy and that our journey together is a good one," the actor said.

The couple is expected to register their marriage at Aamir's residence in Mumbai.

According to media reports, the wedding menu has been curated by the couple's children, who are also expected to play an active role in the celebrations.

Earlier, Aamir had said he wanted to keep the ceremony simple, describing it as a registered marriage with only family members and close friends in attendance.

Aamir was previously married to Reena Dutta, with whom he has two children, Junaid and Ira. He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao, and the couple has a son, Azad Rao Khan. Although Aamir and Kiran separated in 2021, they have continued to co-parent their son.

Gauri Spratt, originally from Bengaluru, has a background in fashion and entrepreneurship. She studied at the University of the Arts London and is currently associated with Aamir Khan Productions.
