Kundapur, Jul 4: The training and placement cell of Moodlakatte College of Nursing (MCN), Kundapura, successfully organised a campus placement drive for the academic year 2025–26 on July 2 in collaboration with Yashoda Hospitals, Hitec City, Hyderabad, one of India's leading multi-speciality healthcare institutions.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the recruitment team by the college management, faculty members, and students. The presence of senior nursing professionals made the session informative and inspiring for the aspiring nurses.


The recruitment team comprised Swathi Meda, general manager – Nursing, Yashoda Hospitals, Hitec City, Hyderabad, and Prathyusha Chowdhary, head – Nursing Education & Training and Nursing Recruitments, Yashoda Hospitals.
During the interactive session, the recruiters introduced students to Yashoda Hospitals, highlighting its advanced healthcare services, nursing excellence, career growth opportunities, professional development programmes, and employee benefits. They also explained the recruitment process, eligibility criteria, training opportunities, and expectations from newly recruited nurses.
Final-year nursing students actively participated in the session, raising queries related to career progression, work environment, speciality departments, and opportunities for higher education. The recruitment team addressed the students' questions and encouraged them to pursue excellence in the nursing profession.
The placement drive provided final-year nursing students with an excellent opportunity to explore employment prospects at a reputed healthcare institution while further strengthening the partnership between Moodlakatte College of Nursing and Yashoda Hospitals.
A major highlight of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between IMJ Institutions and Yashoda Hospitals, Hitec City, Hyderabad. The agreement aims to strengthen academic and professional collaboration by facilitating student placements, offering training opportunities, promoting knowledge exchange, and enhancing career development prospects for nursing students.
Among those present on the occasion were Dr S N Bhat, academic director of IMJ Institutions, Prof Jennifer Preeda Menezes, principal of Moodlakatte College of Nursing, along with faculty members and other dignitaries.
The programme concluded with the college expressing gratitude to the Yashoda Hospitals recruitment team for their valuable time, guidance, and support. The institution appreciated the hospital's commitment to recruiting skilled nursing professionals and wished the students success in their career journey.
