Mumbai, Jul 4: Actress Parineeti Chopra shared a candid and humorous confession during her appearance on the chat show Koffee with Karan, admitting that she gets extremely nervous whenever she is around fellow actress Katrina Kaif.
Appearing alongside actor Aditya Roy Kapur, Parineeti described Katrina as one of her biggest idols and praised her calm, disciplined and composed personality.
Recalling an incident from a gym, Parineeti said she immediately increased the speed of her treadmill after noticing Katrina had arrived. She added that Katrina later approached her and asked how long she had been running. When Parineeti replied that she had completed 20 minutes, Katrina told her to continue for another five minutes.

Parineeti said she instantly agreed, joking that she was ready to do whatever Katrina asked because of the admiration she has for her.
Host Karan Johar then asked Aditya Roy Kapur whether he also found Katrina intimidating. Aditya admitted that he did from time to time, despite acknowledging her warm personality.
When Johar remarked that Katrina was "lovely," both Parineeti and Aditya explained that her serious expression and composed demeanour could make people around her feel nervous.
Although Parineeti has not yet shared screen space with Katrina, Aditya previously starred opposite her in the 2016 film Fitoor.
On the work front, Parineeti recently released the devotional song Namami Shamisham.
Sharing the story behind the track on social media, the actress revealed that she recorded the devotional number during her pregnancy with her son, Neer. She said the phase brought her closer to faith, gratitude and self-reflection, making the song deeply personal.
Parineeti added that listening to the track reminds her of that special chapter in her life and expressed happiness that she could finally share it with listeners across music streaming platforms. She concluded her message with the devotional chant, "Har Har Mahadev."
