Mumbai, Jul 6: Actress Revati Mahurkar has described sharing the stage with Bollywood star Akshay Kumar as one of the most memorable and challenging experiences of her career, saying the performance tested both her confidence and preparation.

Revati revealed that she had only a limited amount of time to rehearse before the show, making the opportunity both exciting and demanding. After a brief practice session and a final backstage run-through, she stepped onto the stage alongside the veteran actor.

Reflecting on the experience, she said performing with Akshay Kumar was both nerve-racking and immensely rewarding.

"Performing alongside Akshay sir was one of the most nerve-racking yet rewarding moments of my career. There was very little time to rehearse, and I was constantly wondering if I would be able to match the energy and precision required for such a big performance. I just kept reminding myself to stay calm, trust my preparation, and give my best."

She recalled feeling a mix of anxiety and excitement in the moments before the performance but said everything came together once the music began.

"The adrenaline was real, but once the music started, everything just fell into place. It was an incredible learning experience to watch Akshay sir's discipline, professionalism, and effortless presence up close."

Looking back, Revati said the performance marked a significant milestone in her professional journey. She noted that the experience reinforced the value of preparation, self-belief and embracing challenging opportunities, adding that performing alongside one of the industry's biggest stars is a memory she will treasure for years.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar was recently seen in Welcome to the Jungle, the third instalment of the Welcome franchise. The film has struggled at the box office amid competition from Alpha, starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, as well as filmmaker Imtiaz Ali's Main Vapas Aaunga.
