The programme began with a prayer by the school choir. The meeting was inaugurated with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries.

The resource person, Dr Vidya Vinutha D'Souza, delivered an insightful session on the responsibilities of parents in raising confident and responsible children. She encouraged parents not to judge their children but to spend quality time with them, talk to them regularly, and patiently listen to their thoughts and feelings. She emphasised the importance of building children's confidence so that they feel comfortable sharing their emotions and concerns with their parents. She advised parents not to put unnecessary pressure on children regarding marks but to appreciate their efforts and overall growth.

She further stressed the importance of teaching children to respect teachers and elders and advised parents not to speak negatively about teachers in front of their children. She reminded parents to be parents first rather than trying to be friends, to observe their children's behaviour carefully, and to instil good values from an early age. She encouraged parents to gift books and cultivate a daily reading habit, channel children's energy into sports and other constructive activities, encourage them to pursue their interests and talents, and help them develop social skills. She concluded by reminding everyone that children are precious blessings and that it is the responsibility of every parent to nurture them with love, patience, and values.

Dr Jeevan Shetty from the Primary Health Centre, Panjikal, addressed the gathering and created awareness about the importance of HPV vaccination, explaining its role in protecting children's health.

In his address, principal Fr Jason Vijay Monis expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the former manager, Fr Francis Crasta, for his dedicated service and the excellent facilities developed for the school. He proudly announced that the first batch of CBSE board examination students achieved a 100% pass result. He also thanked the former PTA vice president, Rodney Ivan D'Souza. He acknowledged the generous donors who supported financially needy students. The principal informed the gathering about the purchase of a new school bus and appreciated the school's alumnus, Leston, for developing the official school website. He announced that the AICS volleyball tournament will be hosted by the school in October, while the Annual Day celebration is scheduled for November.

He also briefed the parents on the school rules and regulations and thanked them for their continuous support and cooperation throughout the previous academic year.
