Jaipur, Jul 14: Kannada actress Sharmiela Mandre has tied the knot with Tamil film producer Sudhan Sundaram in a grand wedding ceremony held at the historic Samode Palace in Jaipur on Jul 12.

The couple began their new journey together in the presence of family members, close friends and relatives. Actress Dhanya Ramkumar shared photographs from the wedding on Instagram and extended her wishes to the newlyweds.

Actress Ramya, who attended the wedding celebrations, had earlier shared photographs and videos from the couple's sangeet ceremony on social media. Her glamorous look at the event drew appreciation from fans online.

Sharmiela and Sudhan got engaged on Jun 25. Sharing pictures from the engagement, the actress had described it as "a day we will remember forever."

Sudhan Sundaram is known for producing several Tamil films, including the critically acclaimed Maharaja.

Sharmiela made her acting debut in Kannada with Sajani and later appeared in several successful films, including Krishna.
