The trailer introduces Kunchacko Boban as a police officer who develops an interest in a mysterious Section 174 case registered at the Kongad police station. When he asks his senior officer about the file, he is told to retrieve it himself. However, Boban points out that no one at the station is willing to even touch the case records because of the fear surrounding it.
As the conversation unfolds, the visuals shift to a series of eerie incidents and unsettling moments, hinting at a mystery that has haunted investigators for years. Boban's superior remarks that while every investigation revolves around the questions of who, when, where, how and why, none of the answers in this particular case had initially raised suspicion.
The trailer later features Lijomol Jose questioning Boban about his decision to reopen the investigation despite earlier warnings that anyone who probed too deeply into the case had suffered serious consequences. Their exchange also reveals that the incident occurred six years earlier, making it difficult to uncover concrete evidence.
As Boban proceeds with the investigation, he is warned that accessing the controversial case file could jeopardise his career if senior officials discover his actions.
The trailer then builds tension with a series of frightening supernatural events, including moments where the protagonist narrowly escapes death. While junior police personnel become convinced that paranormal forces are linked to the case, senior officers dismiss such claims as mere superstition. The case is widely believed to be cursed, and Boban is repeatedly cautioned against pursuing it.
The mystery deepens during Panchami night, when a string of unexplained incidents forces the investigating officer to confront terrifying possibilities, setting the stage for the film's central conflict.
