Mangaluru, Aug 12: Centre for Advanced Learning (CFAL), in association with Pilikula Regional Science Centre, Mangaluru, will conduct an Olympiad workshop for registered pre-university lecturers of Dakshina Kannada (DK) district on August 13 at the Pilikula Regional Science Centre, Vamanjoor, Mangaluru.
The full-day programme, running from 9.30 am to 5 pm, is designed to give lecturers hands-on, laboratory-based exposure to concepts relevant to Olympiad-level science teaching, strengthening their ability to guide students toward such examinations.
The workshop reflects a shared goal between CFAL and Pilikula Regional Science Centre: equipping educators with structured, practical engagement with science beyond the textbook, guided by an expert with decades of research and teaching experience.

The workshop will be conducted by Prof Dr Sasikumar N Menon, MSc, PhD, director of the Institute of Advanced Research in Interdisciplinary Sciences (TDM Lab), Mumbai, along with his team.
About the Organisers
Pilikula Regional Science Centre, inaugurated in 2014, was established through a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Karnataka.
