Mangaluru, Oct 9: Four students of St Aloysius Pre-University College, Mangaluru, brought laurels to the institution with their outstanding performance at the 6th National Finswimming Competition (junior) held in Pune. Together, they secured seven gold medals, one silver medal and three bronze medals, with new meet records in several events.
Wafi Abdul Hakeem of II PUC, batch 25, secured three gold medals in the 50 m bifins, 4 × 100 m freestyle relay and 4 × 100 m mixed freestyle relay, setting new meet records in all three events. He also won a bronze medal in the 400 m bifins.

Poorvi M of II PUC, batch 5, won a gold medal in the 4 × 100 m mixed freestyle relay, which registered a New Meet Record, a silver medal in the 400 m bifins and a bronze medal in surface swimming.
Grahith G Prabhu of II PUC, batch 25, secured two gold medals in the boys’ 4 × 100 m bifins relay and the 4 × 100 m bifins mixed relay, setting new meet records in both events.
Naitik N of I PUC, batch 10, won a gold medal in the boys’ 4 × 100 m relay, which set a new meet record, and a bronze medal in the 50 m bifins individual event.
The college has congratulated the students on their outstanding achievements and record-setting performances, which have brought pride to the Aloysian community.
