Mumbai, Oct 11: Choreographer-filmmaker Ganesh Acharya on Sunday unveiled the trailer of his upcoming directorial venture, ‘Ganesh Dust To Stardust’, a biographical drama depicting his journey from humble beginnings to becoming one of the leading choreographers in the Hindi film industry.

Written and directed by Acharya, the film traces his struggles, sacrifices and determination as he pursued his dream of making a mark in cinema. The trailer offers a glimpse into his personal and professional journey, with dance sequences and emotional moments forming key elements of the narrative.

Starring Shivanshu Soni, Alok Shaw, Sukanya Kalan and Sakshi Pawaskar, the film is scheduled to hit theatres on December 11.

Acharya said the film conveys the message that dreams require hard work, sacrifice and perseverance to become reality. He described the project as being close to his heart and expressed hope that audiences would relate to the dreams, struggles and aspirations portrayed in it.

His daughter Soundarya Acharya, who has produced the film, said the story highlights the importance of believing in one's dreams even when circumstances make them appear impossible. She added that watching her father bring the project to life had been a special experience.

Acharya began his career as a choreographer in the 1990s and has worked on popular Hindi film songs, including ‘Beedi Jalaile’ from ‘Omkara’, ‘Chikni Chameli’ from ‘Agneepath’ and ‘Malhari’ from ‘Bajirao Mastani’.

He has won National Film Awards for Best Choreography for ‘Hawan Kund’ from ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ and ‘Gori Tu Lath Maar’ from ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’. Apart from choreography, he has directed films such as ‘Swami’ and ‘Money Hai Toh Honey Hai’ and acted in several projects.

Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn also shared the film's trailer on social media. Akshay recalled his long association with Acharya and said he was proud to see the choreographer's journey from modest beginnings to success in the film industry.

Presented by V2S Production & Entertainment, the film has screenplay and dialogues by Digangana Suryavanshi and Acharya. Junaid Kumar has composed the music and background score, while the lyrics are by Sameer Anjaan and Acharya. Ajay Pandey is the cinematographer, and Rakesh Ram has handled the editing.
