Hebron, Nov 3: Israeli forces have arrested Al Jazeera Arabic correspondent Montaser Nassar during a raid on his home in Dura, near the West Bank city of Hebron.

Nassar was detained early on Tuesday. Video of the arrest shows Israeli forces leading the journalist, who was blindfolded and handcuffed, into a military vehicle.

According to sources, Nassar was among more than 13 Palestinians detained by Israeli forces in Dura on Tuesday. All those detained were taken to an undisclosed location.

This is not the first time Nassar has faced action by Israeli forces. On December 29, 2023, Israeli soldiers allegedly assaulted him and his cameraman in Dura without warning. The incident reportedly left both with bruises.
