Karkala: Man Dies after Consuming Tablets on Empty Stomach

Karkala, Jul 29:
In a tragic incident, a 28-year-old man died after consuming tablets on an empty stomach near Dhanadabettu in Nandalike gram here on July 28.

The deceased is identified as Ganesh Prasad, son of Shankar Kanchan from Dhanadabettu.

It is learnt that Prasad was suffering from leg pain and hence had taken tablets on empty stomach. Soon after consuming tablets he fell unconscious.

He was then rushed to a nearby hospital in Karkala, but in vain.

A case has been registered at Karkala rural police station.
