Udupi: Thieves Steal Valuables from House at Moodabettu

Udupi, Aug 3: The thieves stole valuables including cash from a house located at Moodabettu, near Katpady, here on Wednesday August 1 night. 

The thieves broke into the house owned by a certain Chittaranjan Shetty, when he was away in Mumbai on Wednesday night and decamped with silver jewellery and valuables including cash, altogether worth over Rs 1 lac.  The theft was brought to light, when the family returned here on Thursday morning. 

A fingerprint expert and canine squad gathered evidence from the crime spot.

Kaup police have registered a case. Investigations are on.
