Bhatkal: Three Autos Damaged as Tree Falls

Bhatkal, Aug 4: Three auto rickshaws were damaged after a huge tree fell across the parked vehicles at Bhatkal Railway station on Friday August 3.

It was around 1 pm when a strong wind along with heavy rain struck the city uprooting the tree and thus damaging the vehicles.

All the auto drivers had gone for lunch while their vehicles were parked at the stand when the incident took place.

Auto rickshaws belonging to Yogesh Narayan Devadiga, Venkatraman Sabrayya Naik, Timmappa Manjappa Naik were damaged.

Bhatkal town police have registered a case in this regard.
