Mangalore: Training Organized for Parish SCCs Convenors

Mangalore, Aug 6: A seminar for parish SCCs parish conveners was held at Shanthi Kiran, Bajjodi on August 5. Fr Vincent Monteiro, the director of pastoral center  presided over the function.

Fr Naveen Pinto, assistant director of the pastoral centre was the resource person and he also conducted a session on facilitating leadership. Fr Walter D'Souza spoke on how to make the year of faith meaningful through SCC by various faith related activities.

Robert D'Souza the diocesan secretory of SCCs compered the programme and proposed the vote of thanks. SCC parish conveners from 97 parishes participated in the seminar.

SCC Seminar, Kemmanu

A seminar on SCCs was organized at The Little Flower Church, Kemmanu, on August 5. Fr J B D’Souza the parish priest presided over the seminar.

Fr Anil D'Silva, Fr Anil D'Souza of Shanthi Kiran Bajjodi, Rony Menezes the vice president, Vivian Cornelio the SCCs parish convener were present.

Fr Anil D'Souza of Shanthi Kiran Bajjodi  was the resource person and he conducted a session on word committee and gospel sharing method. Veronica Cornelio compered the programme Rony Menezes welcomed the gathering, Gracy Machado the PPP secretary proposed the vote of thanks. 125 members participated in the seminar.
