Mangalore, Aug 6:
Hare Krishna Temple, Krishna Consciousness Movement located at Coconut Garden Road, Kadri Tollgate, Mangalore will celebrate ‘Shri Krishna Janmastami’ at the Dr TMA Pai Convention Centre, Mangalore on Friday August 10 informed Nama Nishtha Das, president of Krishna Consciousness Movement at a press conference held at press club on Monday August 6.
 
The purpose of celebrating this auspicious day is to understand the importance of Lord Krishna in everyone’s life.



The celebrations will start at 6pm and will last until 12 midnight. The programme will comprise of pujas, aartis, abhisheka, pravachan. The programme will end with Maha Mangalarti.
 
On this occasion a new project – Radha Govinda Dham will be launched near Anegundi Road, Bejai. The project will comprise features like beautiful altar for Sri Radha Govinda, large hall for culture, seminar hall for audio video presentation on Gita, dioramas and exhibits in main temple hall, prasadam hall for all visitors, library of all vedic literatures. Construction will begin in October after the monsoon.
 
Spiritual revival of the society will lead to life of principles, which only could solve all the problems of this whole world, he asserted.
