Mangalore, Aug 6: A dental treatment camp was organized by A J  Institute of Dental Sciences in collaboration with Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilizers Staff Club at MCF, Kunjathbail, August 5.

 The programme was inaugurated by Prabhakar Rao (Director of MCF) and Dr Vijaya Hegde ( Head of the Department of Public Health dentistry). N Suryanarayan (secretary, MCF  Staff Club) conducted the programme.

Dr Yogesh Bhat  (Medical officer , MCF)welcomed the gathering and  Dr Vijaya Hegde  spoke  on the importance of oral health in our day to day living .

Bhaskara Arasa (Executive- Corporate Health services), Dr Shuban Alva , Dr Rajani George (Department of Public Health Dentistry) and Dr Vikram Bhat (Oral Surgeon), also  participated in the camp along with a team  of  post- graduates and interns. Treatment procedures were carried out for the family units for the staff of MCF and were referred to A J Institute of Dental Sciences, for further treatment.
