Mangalore: St Ann’s College of Nursing Organizes World Breast Feeding Week

Mangalore, Aug 7: St Ann’s College of Nursing, Mulky organized World Breast Feeding Week, in association with the community health centre, Mulky, here on Thursday August 2.

The community health centre medical officer and gynecologist Dr Savita, pediatrician Dr Krishna, St Ann’s College of Nursing principal professor Marie E Pinto were the chief guests of the occasion.

Dr Krishna explained the importance of breast feeding the new born baby. 

St Ann’s College of Nursing students staged skits.  A documentary on importance of breast feeding was screened at the occasion.Over 75 people attended the programme.

Ashvini Kamat welcomed the gathering.  Pavitra proposed vote of thanks.  Jyoti Laveena compered the programme.
