Beltangady, Aug 7: Union minister of rural development Jairam Ramesh presented the third national award to Rural Development and Self Employment Training Institute (RUDSET) located at Ujire. RUDSET director and Canara Bank senior manager M K S Prabhu accepted the award in the presence of national advisory committee honorary president D B Veerendra Heggade, during a function held recently at Science Centre, New Delhi.

RUDSET Institute is led by its chairman Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Dharmadikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade.


Canara Bank CEO Archana S Bhargav, Syndicate Bank chairman M G Sanghvi, union ministry of rural development joint secretary Vijay Kumar, heads of many nationalized banks, RUDSET Institute – Ujire CEO G T Hegde, department top officers, state co-ordinating officers were present at the occasion.
