Bhatkal: Millenium Super Sandal Soap to Be Unveiled at ‘Soap Mela’

Bhatkal, Aug 9: Karnataka Soaps and Detergent Limited (KSDL) has organized an exhibition cum sales mela 'Soap Santhe' of its products at discounted price in Bhatkal from 9 Aug till 16 August to attract the customers.

The mela will be inaugurated by KSDL president Shivanand Naik on Thursday 9 August at the Bhatkal Urban Bank hall at 10.am. Distribution of free sandalwood saplings for farmers will also held soon after the inauguration.

More than 70 products of the KSDL will be introduced during the exhibition and the main attraction will be the new Mysore Sandals, Millennium Super Premium Soap which costs Rs. 720.
 
Briefing the details about the company, KSDL President Shivanand Naik told reporters that the traditional KSDL is the outcome of the foresight and vision of his highness Nalwadi Krishnaraja Vodeyar, the then Maharaja of Mysore and Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya, the then Diwan of Mysore.

The KSDL is in the forefront in the making of natural and pure Sandalwood products due to stable management and good manufacturing practices. He added that Mysore Sandal soaps and Sandolwood oil has received special value in the international markets.
 
The inaugural ceremony will be presided by Bhatkal MLA J D Naik.
 
Managing director Suvarna Kumar, Vasanth Kumar, Anil Rampal, Ravi Shankar and others were present at the press meet.
