Bantwal: World Bio Fuel Day Celebrated In SGSY Auditorium

Bantwal, Aug 11: DK Zilla Panchayath and Bantwal taluk Panchayath jointly celebrated the World Biofuel Day at the SGSY Auditorium, B C Road on Friday August 10.

Taluk Panchayath (STAYI) committee president Madhava Mane presided over the function.

“There is a need to organize an awareness programme on bio fuel for public representatives, officers and teachers,” he said.

Mahatma Gandhi National Employment Scheme taluk convenor Manju Vittla explained the importance of bio fuel. Taluk panchayath CEO Vishwanath Poojary was also present at the occasion.

Assistant director, Adalph Fernandes welcomed the gathering and the panchayath development officer Ganapathi proposed the vote of thanks.
