Autorickshaw Driver's Son Wins 'DID Li'l Masters 2'

Mumbai, Aug 13 (IANS) : Faisal Khan, whose father earns his living by driving an autorickshaw here, Sunday won the "DID Li'l Masters Season 2".

The 13-year-old won the Master Blaster title, a trophy and walked away with Rs.10,00,000.

He won the crown by beating fellow contestants - seven-year-old Om Chetry from Assam who was on the No.2 position.

Indore boy Rohan Parkale, 12, came third and walked away with Rs.3,00,000.

Saumya Rai, 11, from Ranchi won the fourth slot, and seven-year-old Jeet Das from Kolkata landed on fifth. Both of them were given Rs.1,00,000 each as prize money.

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar came on the show to encourage the finalists and shared the first look of his forthcoming film "Oh My God".

Marzi Pestonji and Geeta Kapur were in the judges panel, while Mithun Chakraborty was the Grand Master.

The final decision was made on the basis of public voting and this season got the maximum number of votes - 5,61,00000.

    soumya,is the one who really deserved the title.faisal's good but he commits mistakes in most of his performances and he's not good with props,soumya's dance is flawless and she can handles props better than the other finalist

    Decision in a dance competition should not be judged by considering the family background.GEETHAMAA has d Faisal as the winner write in the beginning of the audition which should not have been done in a public competition by the way she was openly supporting him.consider the in born talent which OM had exhibited throughout the event specially the pole and so many other episodes WHICH FAISAL HAS NOT DARED TO DO.The age difference between them.The really talented competitors standings are as follow's according to my views.(1)OM (2)SOUMYA(3)FAISAL(4)ROHAN(5)JEETH.WISHING ALL THE FIVE FINALISTS A VERY"BRIGHT,SWEET AND SUCCESSFUL FUTURE"......

    Congratulations to Faisal Khan. My observance too - he was the best dancer in this competition.
    But I am disappointed people did not vote for Soumya who was also brilliant and should have come second.
    After all people had to vote.
    I congratulate Soumya for being one of the winners. Better luck next time.

    Result has been biased, again !Looking at the way DID li’l Masters winner was delcared its clear that this show is a fake show. I know winner is Faisal. Faisal is an amazing dancer and so is Rohan, but the best dancer of the show is Saumya.

    Faizal deserves the trophy. he was throughout consistent in his performances. Soumya lost out on votes otherwise she could have been placed 2nd. anyways sheer hardwork paid off for all these 5 finalists.
