Mumbai, Aug 13 (PTI): South actress Ileana D'Cruz will be seen romancing with Shahid Kapoor in director Rajkumar Santoshi's upcoming film.

The film ,tentatively titled 'Phata Poster Nikla Hero' is a Bollywood masala entertainer. The film is to be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, who has given hits like 'Ghayal', 'Andaz Apna Apna', 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani', will feature Shahid and Ileana in the lead. The film will be produced by Ramesh Taurani's Tips Films.

"We have signed Ileana for our film. She is perfect for the role. She is a brilliant actress. We have seen her work down south," Taurani told PTI.
"I can't talk about the role that Ileana and Shahid will be playing in the film," he said.
Ileana is making her debut in Bollywood with Ranbir Kapoor-Priyanka Chopra-starrer 'Barfi', which is directed by Anurag Basu and will release on September 14.

Talking about 'Phata Poster Nikla Hero', Taurani says, "This film is a full-fledged masala entertainer with elements of romance and action. It is an original story and not a remake."
The film will go on floors from November and will release next year.
