Kota: Holy Rosary School Conducts Annual Sports Day

Kota, Aug 30: The annual sports day of Holy Rosary School was jointly organized by the Kundapur friend’s volleyball club and the beauty queen organization Kundapur, here on Wednesday August 29.

Fr Anil D’Souza, managing director of St Mary’s institution presided over the function.

Addressing the sports meet, he said that student activities must not be restricted to classrooms only; instead children should also exhibit their talents in the beyond the classrooms. If they are good in sports, they can also progress, he added.

Dinakar Hegde, youth services and sports officer of Kundapur said that participation in sports will result in an all round personality development of the students. He asked the students to be healthy and to be disciplined.

Gopal Baalehithlu, director of Kundapur friends volleyball club, Mohammad Sammer, national volleyball player, Hussain Haikadi, owner of the organisation beauty queen, Kundapur, Vijetha V Kanchan, school pupil leader, Charan B, sports secretary shared the dais.

On the occasion, Viola Louis was honored for representing the school at the National level chess competition.

Connie Menezes, headmistress welcomed the gathering, Nagaraj Shetty compered and Krishna delivered the vote of thanks.
