Mon, Sep 24 2012Really a tragic and sad accident. An immense, irreparable, irreplaceable and unconsolable loss to the bereaved family. May God give them enough strength, courage and support to bear this great loss. Like many friends have suggested, use of helmet should be made compulsory and definitely it saves lives. If the place is accident prone, necessary action should be initiated to take corrective measures.

Sat, Sep 22 2012A good quality helmet should be worn, not only because it is a rule but also for one's own safety. Sometimes, people have the tendency to carry the helmet and wear it only when they see a policeman from far or they do not wear it for a shorter distance. They should wear it whenever they travel, whether the distance is long or short. If we can have separate exclusive lanes for motor cyclists, it would be big blessing for all. But this may require a lot of planning in advance. May God give strength to the members of the family to overcome the sorrow.

Sat, Sep 22 2012Very sad, and most unfortunate. These days the roads in and around udupi and mangalore have been dangerous for users... Its high time that we build lanes for motor bikes along with national and state highways so that these lanes are used exclusively by two wheeler users so that accidents are reduced. /secondly make headwear helmets compulsory for all mobike riders..may the souls RIP
