Seven Killed in Turkey Bombing


Ankara, Sep 26 (IANS): A total of seven soldiers were killed Tuesday in a bomb attack targeting a military vehicle in a Turkish province, Xinhua reported.

According to local newspaper Today's Zaman, the attack occurred in Ataturk district of the Tunceli province in the evening when .

A powerful explosion ravaged the downtown area of Tunceli and heavy casualties were reported.

A plume of smoke could be seen from most parts of the city as the armoured vehicle, the apparent target of the attack, caught fire, Turkey's CNNTurk reported.
