Very sad indeed. a young life puffed out for no good reason. I dont understand bikes on the same roads with four wheelers. Like bicycles they are so open and vulnerable to accidents
They are meant to be for short distances.I guess youngsters use them more for the thrill and power of riding than for travelling. I have known people travelling longer distances in the past but on safer roads.
My heart goes out to the parents of these promising young people who die an untimely death leaving the parents and their siblings to a life of despair and hopelessness.

Accidents occur due to negligence of drivers or others, disrespect to rules and regulations and no fear of consequences is the reason behind these happenings, offenders most of the time let free or get minimum punishment, so people are not scared to break the rules. Riding a two wheeler for a long journey is it a crime? Nowadays it is a bit dangerous of-course. Youngsters are always adventurous and they should be. We have lost a youngster, most probably not for his fault. May the Almighty give strength and solace to his loved one's.

Very sad news indeed. I don't understand why he had to ride the bike from chikmaglur to Moodbidri when there are so many buses available on same rout. Only in India, we are seeing so many road accidents in a day, because of the road condition, no strict traffic rules for drivers, inexperienced drivers, alcohol influence. influence.

This is what is a Culpable Homicide. The News clearly states that, The Driver of the Alto killed the rider and fled the spot. Clearly a negligence and disrespect to the other's life. One who fled the spot immediately can't be spared at any cost under any circumstances or change of statements by cops to save culprit on bail. Catch him/her soon Put him/her behind the bars until he/she pays the Blood Money to Sanath's parents. Incase he/she fails to do so, punish him/her rigourously as the Act of Negligence towards one precious life can't be tolerated and should be a lesson for all rest of the rash drivers.

May the soul of beloved Sanath Bhat rest in eternal peace and give comfort and solace to your parents, friends and colleges. A young and energetic promising life lost due to this unfortunate fatal accident. Police should find out the driver as soon as possible and deprive of all his right to drive. He did the wrong thing of leaving the scene of the accident and the young rider to die.
