New Delhi, Mar 6 (IANS): Celebrating the influence of women in the English music space, international music channel 9XO will present a special line-up on International Women's Day.
From Madonna to Lady Gaga and even actress-singer Priyannka Chopra - songs by such artists will feature in the Women's Day special programme titled "9XO Kickass Chicks".
"The music selection on '9XO Kickass Chicks' celebrates the achievement of women made in the English music space. The playlist created is the declaration by strong, confident women who knows what they want," Luke Kenny, head of programming, 9XO, said in a statement.
Starting Wednesday, popular artists across various genres will feature on the channel's playlist.
