Today the public do not want to eat the local produce, we kiwi fruit, china apples, tangerines, etc. The local fruit like the star fruit, cashew fruit, etc which is more nutrious is not eaten because we Mangaloreans will be thought of as khat villagers, everybody is cutting down their jackfruit trees, we dont want them anymore because of the smell.
