Mangalore, Mar 9: A man was found dead at a half-constructed building near Kankanady market here on Saturday March 9 evening.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained. He was about 35 years old.

The body was in a decomposed state and it is suspected that he might have died some three days ago.

The cause of his death is not yet known.

The body was found on the second floor of the building. It is not known how it came to be there.

The construction on the building was reportedly stopped sometime ago due to legal hurdles.

A vendor selling tender coconut near the building grew suspicious when foul smell emanated from the building. He then informed the other locals and the police who rushed to the spot.

Kadri police led by inspector Raghava Padil conducted preliminary investigations.

The body has been shifted to Wenlock for post-mortem.

Kadri police have registered a case.

So disgusting to see the Personal safety level of the personnel's handling a human decomposed corpse without even a mask which costs next to nothing , by such disregard to human safety we can estimate the level of intelligence in this "Educated" district which has probably the highest number of hospitals and professional educational institutes in whole of India still we are so backwards in anything related to human safety, if this article was about anything to do with religion then there would have been hundreds of comments!! and thousands of agrees and disagrees !!

The construction site must not be kept open for any body. There should be boudary where no one can go without permission. That guy must have drank too much and slept or fell down. Let us wait for thge reports. May his soul rest in peace, Amen. As long as human life is alive, some show is there. Else body is useless, soul goes where ??? May be it was looking at the dead body ??? Those who murder, rob and do wrong things, please think of your dead body now. It will go to hell.
