Mumbai: BSKB Krishna Temple celebrates foundation day

Mumbai, Mar 20: The foundation day of BSKB Institution’s Krishna Temple was observed grandly in Sion East, recently.

On this occasion, Vedamurthy Hari Bhat and Krishnaraj Uppadhya performed many Vedic rituals like ‘Ganapathi Homa’, ‘Kalashaprathiste’, and ‘Kalashabisheka’.

On behalf of Gopalkrishna Public Trust, R L Bhat and Geetha L Bhat took part in the rituals.

As a part of the cultural event, Priyanjali and Divyashree presented ‘Bharatanatyam’ while Saurabh Rao and Saurabh Variyar played the harmonium and ‘Tabla’. Gokula Kalavrundha’s women presented ‘Talamaddale’ programme called ‘Bhaktha Saramrutha’ and ‘Athikaya Moksha’. After the rituals at night, a palanquin ‘Utsav’ was held.
