Mumbai: Chembur Karnataka Sangh organized Talamaddale

Mumbai, Sep 2: The cultural Committee of Chembur Karnataka Sangh organized Talamaddale on the mythological episode, ‘Sri Rama Pattabisheka Bharatagamana,’ at Karnataka School, Fatla village, Chembur, here on Saturday August 31.

The Talamaddale was held at the leadership of Chembur Karnataka Sangh president Prabhakar B Bolar, by Yakshagana artistes Polya Laxminarayan Shetty, Bottakere Purushottam Poonja and Ganesh Hebri.  Siddakatte Chennappa Shetty, Siddakatte Vishwanat Shetty, Bhaskar Shetty Kukkevalli, Jayaprakash Shetty Permude, Sasikant Karkal and others assisted as Bhagavat, explaining the meaning of complex shlokas. 

Dayanand Mijar, Anand Shetty and Dinesh Shetty Vikhroli assisted in playback music. Prabhakar Bolar felicitated Yakshagana artistes and organizer Ajekar Balakrishna Shetty on the occasion.

The Hon. chief secretary Vishwanat Shenava, treasurer Devdas K Shettigar, cultural Committee secretary Dayasagar Chowta, T R Shetty and others were present.
