Mumbai: Shivaram Karanth memorial drawing competition held

Mumbai, Sep 16: The metro based Sadanand Suvarna Cultural Foundation organized the annual the Late Shivaram Karanth memorial drawing competition at NKES School auditorium, Wadala, here on Sunday September 15 morning.

Hundreds of students from 13 different schools across the metro participated in the competition that was held in three divisions. NKES School principal Saroja Rao offered motion for drawing competition on the occasion.

The foundation secretary S K Sundar, treasurer professor Shiva Billawa, members Gopal Trasi, Panju Gangolli and teachers of NKES School conducted the competitions. The parents of students were also present.

The prizes will be presented to the winners in the presence of renowned theater artiste Sadanand Suvarna during the late Dr Shivaram Karanth memorial programme scheduled to be held at Dr M Vishveshwarayya auditorium of Karnataka Sangh, Matunga (West) here on Sunday October 12, informed S K Sundar.
