Audience's faith key to success of 'C.I.D.'

Mumbai, Sep 27 (IANS): Actor Dayanand Shetty, who plays Daya in "C.I.D.", says the detective show has sustained a run of 16 years only because of the audience's faith in it.

"To do justice with the audience who have faith in us, is the biggest criteria for us now," added the actor.

Directed and produced by B.P. Singh, the show is aired on Sony Entertainment Television. It also stars Shivaji Satyam as ACP Pradyuman, Aditya Shrivastav as Abhijit, Narendra Gupta as Salunke and Anshaa Sayyed as Purvi.
