Mangalore, Oct 18: A fight erupted between two Muslims groups Mohiuddin Juma Masjid committee and Ullal Darga samithi in the Ullal area on Friday October 18.
The current administration at the Ullal Darga is under the control of the Ullal Darga samithi. Another Darga was constructed opposite to it around three years ago, which was controlled by the Mohiuddin Juma Masjid.
Sources have stated that Ullal Darga committee had put a stay order from the Wakf board stating that Mohiuddin Juma Masjid committee should not offer namaaz / prayers, but they should pray at the old Ullal Darga.
As per the source, prayers were being offered at the new Darga on October 18 along with the Mohiuddin Juma Masjid committee association. But at the same time police formed a barrier around the new Darga preventing the other members from entering as per the stay order from the Wakf board.
During this time two members allegedly from the opponent mob entered the new Darga from the other entrance and stabbed two individuals of the Mohiuddin Juma Masjid committee who were offering namaaz. It is also alleged that at the same time other members from the association pelted stones at the building.
As the tension increased in the area the police had to subject to lathi charge. During the clash, few police have been reported as injured.
Oh my dear friends. This news is full of lies. There is no darga in near masjid of Ullal Darga which is called as Muhyuddeen Juma masjid. and this muhyuddeen juma masjid have 200 year of history while ullal juma masjid have 250 years of history. There is no darga in the muhyuddeen juma masjid. and the committee members of muhyuddeen juma masjid have decided to start new jumua namaz (not jam-ath namaz) without informing the Qazi of Ullal juma masjid which is Sheikhuna Thajul Ulama. it is clearly seen that without informing Ullal darga president and other committees and Ullal Qazi, this new Jumua is not at all correct. who ever doing the Jumua in this masjid will never the sawab of jumua. so please avoid unnecessary discussion without having any knowledge about that. thank you

If these targets are not active, this is the result. There will be fight within the religions. Allah only has to solve the problems.

For once I thought the incident on Eid day was very unfortunate. Who will you blame for this? Now this was the only thing left to happen and if this goes on like this, no one can stop Mangalore from becoming a war zone. Not sure what these two groups stand for or do but these groups should not think they are in Pakistan or else the authorities should stop it right at this point.
Can you exclude someone from offering namaz? Sounds not correct..
masjid can be built for prayers any were .Darga is built on the grave& you cannot have two graves or dargas at different place This is simply to creat tension and for personal gains of two diffrent groups This is purely not ethical.
Its high time, our generation understands that religion/ego isnt as imporatnt as the overall growth. We should have a continued focus on environment and constructive work to make a better place for ourselves to live in. No1 is going to gain anything in fighting/being voilet for the trival things like places to pray etc.We may really need a new age leader who can influence people/mob and lead them in right direction. really pray one among us will rise up

Mohammad Salauddeen Bantwal, Mangalore/AUH, I sincerely agree with your comment in the 2nd para of the comment in the kallyanpur incident. I have commented also on Sowjanya incident. My view is, CBI enquiry need to be done & truth need to come out. Hence, I urge the present government & jobless politicians (includes all parties)to urge the government for the needful rather just giving press statements . As far as pseudos are concerned, I have seen many in the forum, who are classic examples of pesudos. Instead of reading the matter, they read the personnel involved are of which religion. Then they frame comments. I have made a small & of course funny effort to expose them...:-)
In the name of the religion fighting with in for trivial reason. SKSSF and SSF both are based on SUUNY sect having diverse of opinions in some issues.These two divisions are based from Kerala having so many divisions and fighting across DK/UDUPI beyond for syllabus in Madrasas.Wakaf board tried to introduce Karnataka based Syllabus and etc to calm down warring parties but failed to take off.Both SKSSF and SSF basically stands united but differs with some issues which could be sorted out by sitting around the tale.Some are how egos,misinformation and prestige makes both party's adamant.POLICE NEED TO SLAP STERN IPC SECTIONS AS SUCH KIND OF MISCHIEVOUS ARE RAMPANT IN TWIN DISTRICTS.THERE COULD BE THOUSAND AND THOUSANDS CASES IN THE COURT PERTAINING SAME ISSUES BETWEEN OWN COMMUNITY MEMBERS.VERY UNFORTUNATE AND SHAMEFUL TOO.....
There were only 1 syllabus was teaching in all Sunni madrasas in Kerala and coastal Karnataka .
Thank god...nobody has blamed Sangha Parivar so far for the infight in Darga premise.
I really don't feel any difference between the sangh parivar groups which stopped prayers in Udupi before 2 days and this incident. As I told there, it's not the masjids but our niyyath which will please Allah. Hope culprits will get strict punishment by law. People are getting educated more, but the knowledge is no where to see!
Dear SSF & SKSSF, you people don't have any other good work to do?leaders and representatives of both organisations are coming to Gulf countries for collect the donation. people are giving their hard earned money for development of the community. but not for stab somebody, not for fight each other and not for stone pelting to masjid or dargha. dear brothers stop this stupidity and join the hands to work for the community and cooperate with the govt to maintain the peace. don't disturb our society in the name of two Kerala based organisations. already we area fed up with the disturbance of sangha parivar in this region.
