A good move to bolster mainly the city's local businesses. A source of income for tour operators, besides a good retail business in branded shops and eateries.

Hope the shopkeepers do not charge an extra premium on their prices, knowing the customers are tourists and a floating crowd.

I decided to do some shopping at the City Mall yesterday, just then I saw the tourists alighting from a tourist coach they looked very happy, later I saw them purchasing some artificial jewelry and leather items. Government should encourage tourism that is one way of earning foreign exchange.
