Bangalore: BJP gears up for Modi rally, performs special pujas at venue

Bangalore, Nov 8 (DHNS): The BJP on Friday performed three special poojas at the Palace Grounds for the success of the party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi’s rally on November 17 in the City.

Senior BJP leaders assembled at the grounds, the venue of the rally, and performed a series of homas, including Gana homa, Mruthyunjaya homa and Subramanya homa.

Former deputy chief minister R Ashoka and his wife Pramilarani did the sankalpa and sat through the homas. The party has put Ashoka, the City MLA, in charge of making arrangements for the rally.

Modi will land at the HAL airport on November 17 and reach the convention venue by a helicopter. He will leave Bangalore immediately after his speech. A special helipad is being constructed at the Palace Grounds, sources said.

The State BJP has constituted 36 teams with varied responsibilities ranging from food and water management to transport arrangements for the convention. A preparatory meeting of the teams was held at the Palace Grounds on Friday. At least three lakh people, including two lakh from outside Bangalore, are expected to attend the meet.

Six dining areas are being set up at Gayathri Vihar and Krishna Vihar segments of the Palace Grounds. Separate menus are being prepared for people from different regions of the State, sources said. Those from outside Bangalore will arrive on November 17 morning and leaving the same day. Several halls have been booked for their brief accommodation. No tents will be erected for the crowd due to security reasons.

Asked whether making lakhs of people assemble in a busy area like the Palace Grounds would not cause inconvenience to the public, Subbanna, president of City BJP unit, said as the rally was going to be held on a Sunday, there would not be much traffic movement on the City roads.

He said, “The party workers will be dropped in buses to the venue and later they would be picked up. We will not park vehicles at the grounds. Before 11 am, the workers will assemble. There won’t be much inconvenience to the public. We will also request the public to take alternative routes around the grounds to reach their destinations.”

What Mr. Anand. Why are you making up things.
Mr.D'souza, Kuwait no where he said "Puja" also a "Superstition"
Why do you BJPians twist things.

This is how RSS\BJP are trying to cause problems by twisting the facts.
Hope you will give up on them and be good follower of a good political party. I need not tell you which one it is....

Also try to understand our Honourable CM Mr. Sidduji who is on the right track of development by first doing away unnecessary superstitions and many other time consuming, money and food wasting ceremonies and decency whilst doing poojas.
You are a educated person and many will follow you when you explain to them necessity of these reforms in the society.
See how Sati and some others things were banned amidst heavy criticism from RSS\BJP. But now all are praising for the emancipation from such trauma of the widows. They are not outcasts\no tonsuring\allowed to mix freely and lead a independant life.
One day in the near future all will praise Mr. Sidduji's reforms too once the benefits are experienced.

    One request with the media,
Don't show any partiality in your publication. Expose all available truth all countrymen. Now during the rally, defiantly modi followers will try to ignite violence that will be in front of the particular religions worship place. But in Bangalore, public's are not that much fools to join their hand. But to be sure there will one or more drama HIMSE they will do. Else BJP godfathers never breath properly. This is the policy of rss sena.

Nothing special or sensational in this news. It's very easy to gather lakhs or million members of sangh out fits like RSS, VHP, Bajarangh dal, Rama from across the states. This will not give additional strength to BJP. These all the publicity stunt by BJP for feku Modi. The good news only for BJP is feku is at least able to unit all sangh parivar outfits.

During our state election, Sadananda Gowda asked his fate in front of DAIWWA and he got a satisfactory reply but the actual result was we all aware.Yediurappa went several times to our neighbor to meet several mantrvadi and done so many puja maata mantra went with his famous colleague to another part of INDIA for religious tour spending our money. Finally na ghar ka na ghaat ka. Politicians must think either side, that each and individuals always praying and raising their hand in front of their religious God for the better. So blessing from GOD always positive for his believers. Not for the DONGI followers. Whether it may be CONGRESS or BJP don't focus religion in your dirty game. Please respect your religion and think about your children. Your sin will effect on your family and children.
Now we have to request and inform all religious persons not to canvas or involve in politics.

You have got the facts wrong Sir. We dont get oil from Arab countries for free. We pay and BUY it. As far as technology is concerned, we are at par with America and in some cases better. Mangalyan is indigenous technology and is much more effective and low cost than the ones done by America.
