Bombay Bunts Association holds 30th annual general meeting

Mumbai, Apr 1: Bombay Bunts Association, one of the prestigious associations in Mumbai started in 1982 held their 30th annual meeting at Saumyalatha Shetty hall of Bunts Center at Juyi nagar in Navi Mumbai on Sunday morning March 30.

Association president and president of the meeting, advocate Ratnakar V Shetty lighted the lamp and set the meeting in motion.  Pune's Symbiosis Law Educational Institute's Dr Shashikala Gurpur had arrived as Chief Guest.  Dr Suresh Shetty, businessman Sadananda Shetty, former president adovate Ashok Shetty and trustee Anni C Shetty were the guests of honor.

Honorary treasurer C A Surendra Shetty, Joint secretary Chandrashekar Shetty, Joint Treasurer Innabeedu Ravindra S Shetty, Women's wing executive president Asha S Shetty, Youth wing executive president Nivedita A Shetty were present.

Vice president Shama N Shetty welcomed.  Among the audience, former president Jayarama S Malli, advocate Anand V Shety and C V Shetty, Shantaram Shetty, Prabhakar Shetty, Mahesh Shetty and others spoke.

Journalist Dayasagar Chowta compered the programme.  Honorary chief secretary, advocate D K Shetty proposed vote of thanks.

Shama N Shetty was elected as president for the years 2014-2017. Sarala B Shetty was elected women wing president and Chetan R Shetty was elected youth wing president.  The outgoing president advocate Ratnakar Shetty presented flower bouquet to the newly elected president Shama N Shetty and his wife Sharada Shama Shetty.  Santhosh D Shetty, Vishwanath Shetty, Bhaskar Shetty and others congratulated the new president.
