Bombay Bunts Association conducts free dental check up for NGO Prayas

Mumbai, June 13:
'Health is Wealth' and today's children are tomorrow's leaders. With this motto, the youth wing of the Bombay Bunts Association gathered here at Shastri Nagar Sports club with an intention of conducting a free dental check up and to distribute books and spread awareness among the children of NGO Prayas.

The host was Vaishali Kaladhar Shetty. The function began in the morning after the arrival of the street school kids with their NGO founders Ramesh Raut and A C Nadar.







The lamp was lit by Shyam N Shetty, president, M B Vittal Rai, vice president, Chandrashekhar Shetty, genereal secretary, Sarala Shetty, chairperson of ladies wing of the association, youth wing chairman Chetan RShetty, vice chairman Deekshit Bhandary, secretary Charan Shetty, treasurer Smruthi Shetty, joint secretary Santhosh Shetty and joint treasurer Priyanka Shetty. It was followed with a prayer by Santosh Shetty.
 
Chetan R Shetty welcomed the gathering and the dignitaries on the dias, introduced the sponsors Jayanth Shetty, Jyoti Arun Shetty and B M Shetty.

Shyam N Shetty expressed his feelings for the kids and was followed with talks by Vittal Rai, Chandrashekar Shetty and Sarala Shetty.

Vaishali Shetty introduced Dr Shivanand Shetty, Dr Nitesh Rajawat and Dr Rahul Bhat and thanked them for being present to help them serve the children and they were felicitated. The sponsors too were felicitated.

Jyoti Shetty began with the distribution of books which was followed by Shyam N Shetty, M B Vittal Rai, Chandrashekar Shetty, Sarala Shetty and all the youth wing members Chetan R Shetty, Deekshit Bhandary, Charan Shetty, Smruthi Shetty, Santosh Shetty, Priyanka Shetty, Shashikanth Rai, Manoj Shetty, Dhananjay Shetty, Shriknath Rai, Uchita Shetty, Prashasthi Shetty, Shushanth Shetty, Ashok Shetty, Rajeev Shetty, Shweta Shetty and Vaishali Shetty.
 
The programme came to an end with words of awareness by Dr Shivanand Shetty; a dental check was conducted for approximately 300 kids of the NGO and the bunt members present.

Reports were made individually and for each person was given tooth paste and a tooth brush and were encouraged by the association members.

The function ended with the vote of thanks.
