New Delhi: 20 Aug: In a major haul, police have seized 100 kg of narcotics from South-West Delhi.
The alleged kingpin of the racket has been arrested along with 3 accomplices. According to reports, the drug seized is ephedrine, a kilo of which costs up to $50,000. It's a synthetic pill used as a stimulant and to treat hypertension among other things.
The seizure was made near Indira Gandhi International Airport on Saturday.
The three of the arrested hail from Punjab while the fourth person is an Indian settled in Canada.
