Mumbai: Meeting held to lay action plan ahead of Vishwa Tulu Parba

Mumbai, Aug 28: Ahead of the grandiose celebration of World Tulu Fest (Vishwa Tulu Parba) at Pilikula, Mangalore, Akhila Bharata Tulu Okkuta, Mumbai in a press release said that the union convened a meeting jointly with the Tulukoota to discuss on prepardness here at Billava Bhavana, Santacruze (E) recently.

The meeting was presided by the presidents of ABTO and TK, Dharmapal and U Devadiga and held talks on formation of the programme committee and preparedness to successfully organize the much awaited fest in the coastal district. The release stated that the fest will be carried-out under the leadership of Dr D Veerendra Hegde and district-in-charge minister Ramanath Rai in association with Tuly Sahitya Academy.

In the release, Rons Bantwal, secretary of the union urged all Tulu associations and cadres functioning from Mumbai to take part in the meeting to lay action plan much prior to the fest.
