Mumbai, Sep 3: Gulabi S Poojari (65) popularly know as 'Kajupada amma' passed away at Hiranandani Hospital Powai recently. She was a resident of Jerimeri Kajupada Nasikana Kurla (W).
She hailed from Kemmannu Thonse Udupi district and was the wife of Suresh Poojari, owner of Hotel Ravi Jerimeri. She is survived by her husband, two daughters and a son.
President of Billawa Association Nithyananda D Kotyan, ex-president L V Amin, social activist Ravi Mendon Kurkal, Ramesh Rai Kaiyaru, Shekar Gujjarabetti and others were present during the funeral.
Jaya C Suvarna, president of All India Billawa Federation and director of The Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai), Thonse Jayakrishna Shetty, Dharmapal U Devadiga and Vishwanath U Mada have expressed their condolences to the family.
The funeral was held at Sakinaka Sagbagh.
