Maharashtra businessman found dead in Patna hotel


Patna, Sep 7 (IANS): A textile businessman from Maharashtra was found dead in a hotel here, police said Sunday.

The victim was identified as Shamdarshi Agrawal, in his mid-50s. He was probably on a business visit to the state, police said.

"We have started investigating the cause of his death," police officials said.

His body was sent for postmortem and his relatives were informed in Pune about his death.

The hotel staff told police that he had checked in the hotel room Saturday.
